The WEMTA Permanent Endowment Trust (PET), was established in 1992 and has provided over $60,000 in scholarships and project grants to WEMTA Member recipients. Contributions to PET are tax deductible and donors are honored through a cumulative giving program.

The Doctoral Studies Scholarship provides funding for a doctoral student enrolled in a university program that prepares educators of future school library media and instructional technology specialists.
The Lowell Wilson Scholarship encourages strong leaders to gain the certification required for serving as Library Media and Instructional Technology Specialists in our schools. This scholarship(s) provides funding to cover tuition costs for graduate level coursework leading to licensure.
The Professional Development Scholarship encourages strong leaders serving in our schools. This scholarship(s) provides up to $800 to cover conference related expenses. These expenses may include: registration, lodging, mileage, airfare, or other transportation costs incurred while attending a conference such as ISTE, ALA, AASL, FECC, TIES. Receipts will be required for reimbursement of conference expenses.
