Elections are held each year to elect new WEMTA Board members. You're eligible to vote if your membership is current as of January 1st. You're also eligible to serve and run for the Board. If you're interested please contact the Past-President (past-president@wemta.org) or Vice President (vice-president@wemta.org).
Our Board is comprised of the executive committee: President, Vice President, President-Elect, Past-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Other voting Board members represent their constituency by area: Library, Technology, and At-Large.
Each Board member, with the exception of the President-Elect, serves a two year term. The President-Elect serves for four years and moves through Vice President, President, and Past-President before finishing the term.
The Board also includes non-voting members which serve to guide the association's work and represent its primary affiliates. Current non-voting members include representation from DPI, ISTE, and AASL.
