FOR Elementary Division:

Please follow these instructions which will help so much with compiling the questions with others written for the same book and add a level of standardization to the practice questions and test.

1. Do NOT number the questions. Numbering creates many formatting problems when compiling the questions.
2. Please do not use other colors than black and do not underline/highlight complete questions.
3. Please leave one line between each question & list the info. from number 6 on the same line if possible.
4. Please do not say battle of the books or BOB in any of the questions.
5. Please do not use information from the title page, dedication, etc. Use only the actual text of the story. For picture books, use only repeated pictures that are essential to the story, not something obscure from an illustration.
6. List the chapter and page number for the question at the end of the question. For picture books or books without chapters, list the page # if available. This is important if we need to check a question or make changes to it.
7. Please proof read before you send in your questions.
8. Please submit only 12 to 15 questions per title. We will be having two to three people write questions for each book.
9. Please submit a variety of types of questions – setting, plot, quotes, character descriptions, meaningful words, events, etc.
10. In the subject line of your e-mail, please say Questions – title of the book
11. Due date: October 1st of the year.

FOR Middle Division: 

Please follow instructions from numbers 4, 9, and 7 above. And note the page number when composing 12-15 questions for each book.  Go to the GoogleDoc Form, Link will be provided in June.  Enter your name, select the title, enter your question and page number.  Press "Submit" after completing the form.  The form only allows you to enter one question at a time.  You will receive a page that allows you to "GO BACK TO FORM" to add additional questions.  Due date: October 1st.

FOR Senior Division

Prepare 10-15 questions for each book. On the GoogleDocs Form, a link will be provided in June, select the title, enter your name, question, and page.  This form only allows you to write one question at a time. Press "Submit" after completing the form. You will then receive a page that allows you to "Go Back To Form" to submit additional questions.   Due date: October 1st.
