American Association of School Librarians (AASL)
The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) is interested in the general improvement and extension of library media services for children and young people. The mission of AASL is to advocate excellence, facilitate change, and develop leaders in the school library media field. Vicki Santacroce serves as the AASL Advocate on WEMTA's Board of Directors.
American Library Association (ALA)
The American Library Association provides leadership for the development, promotion, and improvement of library and information services and the profession of librarianship in order to enhance learning and ensure access to information for all.
International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)
The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) is the largest teacher-based, nonprofit organization in the field of educational technology. Its mission is to help K-12 classroom teachers and administrators share effective methods for enhancing student learning through the use of new classroom technologies. Donna Smith serves as the ISTE Advocate on the WEMTA Board of Directors.
Wisconsin Library Association (WLA)
The Wisconsin Library Association brings together and supports all types of libraries. Their purpose is to improve and promote library and information services and practice fro the people of Wisconsin. Allison Kaplan serves as the WLA liaison on the WEMtA Board of Directors.
