Intellectual Freedom Special Interest Group
The Intellectual Freedom Special Interest Group (IFSIG) is open to all members of WEMTA interested in intellectual freedom issues. The IF SIG has a listserv to share IF-related news and to encourage discussion around IF issues. The IF SIG also sponsors programs at the WEMTA conference. The group may meet formally or informally during the annual WEMTA conference.
Interested in joining the IF SIG? Contact listserv manager Megan Schliesman to be added to the listserv.
Leadership for the IF SIG is provided by a chair and chair-elect elected by the IF SIG membership.
2010-2011 Chair: Megan Schliesman, Librarian, Cooperative Children’s Book Center, School of Education, UW-Madison
2010-2011 Chair-Elect: Marcia Aas, Library Media Specialist, Darlington Community Schools
Remember that current WEMTA membership is required if you wish to join a special interest group.
